Some New Art on the Way! Well, maybe.

Journal Entry: Tue Jul 24, 2007, 7:15 PM
  • Mood: Joy
Wow. It's been ages since I submitted anything here, but, hopefully, you'll be seeing some new pics soon. I've recently got into drawing again, so I'm working on some pics. Who knows how they'll turn out but if they're ok, then maybe I'll be posting some here.

On a second, somewhat related note; Who got Animaniacs vol 3? I (finally) did! *proudly waves copy in the air* :D Which reminds me, I STILL need to get all the PatB sets! Also, how many more volumes of Animaniacs are due out? I thought there was going to be 5 volumes, however, I just read on Wikipedia that the remaining 24 episodes will be released on a 4th volume, which would make sense, so now I'm left wondering why I thought there was going to be 5 volumes in the first place :?

Also;

Did anyone else notice a slight decline in the show in this set? As in, the writing was slightly... off? I dunno, maybe it's just me but I felt that something was amis in this volume. I haven't watched all DVD's properly yet, so I'm going by titles alone here, but, there seems to be a lack of Pinky and the Brain (correct me if I'm wrong). Had they gotten their own show by this time?

Of course, Animaniacs is still THE best animated show ever made and dispite the slight decline, they still made some fantastic episodes, and thankfully, the writing decline doesn't seem to have really spread to the Warner's skits yet. Still, is this the start of the show's decline that I've heard so much about from Animaniacs fans and Fansites? :(

(I know, I should be writing all this on Toonzone, but I've completely forgotten my password and everytime I ask for it to be sent, I never get the email, so I'm gonna have to work on getting my password back somehow. Until then, DA's gonna have to deal with my little Animaniacs posts).

Anywho, hopefull I'll be posting some more Animaniacs art soon, and making a return to DA after losing my interest in drawing for a few months...

Its ok

Make sure you are gentle when you pryse the cover off, it may snap! Just slide the implement around the inside of the case and it will come eventually.

Let me know how it goes - good luck!

Alright, thanks for that, very helpful! I'm just having problems getting the plastic casing off, now. It just won't come off :(

Ok here is what you do:

You need a thin tool to take the casing off the ipod - maybe a thin screwdriver or blade.

Also remember that ipods werent designed to be taken apart and you will probably incur some minor cosmetic damage doing this... Or you could break it entirely if youre not careful.

If you still want to go ahead, you need to insert the thin tool inbetween the plastic and the metal next to the firewire port.

Insert the tool as far as you can and GENTLY slide it up and around the sharp metal upper-left corner of the ipod until its about 10mm from the edge.

Then pry up and release the first of the five clips (on the left side) holding the two case halves together.

Once you've released the first clip, continue to slide the blade down the side of the iPod, and the remaining four clips will come apart fairly easily. With one side of the iPod case released, you can now lift the plastic case half away from the metal portion.

Leave it to dry for a while and putting the ipod back together is just a case of snapping the two halves together again.

Hope that helps- remember to be careful not to dislodge any of the connections inside the ipod, otherwise you'll have some soldering to do!

I'm not sure what you mean by normal but it's a video iPod.

Is it a normal ipod or a mini one? The minis are slightly easier to take apart in my opinion..
~anniemaniac:iconanniemaniac: Feb 19, 2007, 12:38:17 PM
No I never did manage. I managed to cut myself a few times though

And I would like some help on it, please. if you could provide some :)

Hello there, thank you very much for the :+fav:! I really appreciate it.
~anniemaniac:iconanniemaniac: Feb 18, 2007, 3:52:39 PM
I completely agree. I love Animaniacs and all, but I wouldn't wanna see a remake. Imagine an "Animaniacs Unleashed" or "Baby Animaniacs" on TV... :fear: (Although... a baby Wakko would be adorable :giggle:)

Slappy is one of my faves too, although, she's 3rd. It goes Wakko, Yakko then Slappy :)

i love them,
i wish so too, but i don't want a re-make of the series, lately all brought-back cartoons have been sucking :/
Personally, slappy is one of my favorite cahratcers (next to wakko of course)
